How does it work?

Thanks to a specific writing guide, Opale enables one to write structured educational contents composed of three types of activities:

  • Learning activities organized in:

    • Content elements : to display and structure the information,

    • Writing exercises: practical activities with "contextualization - question - solution"

  • Self-assessment activities composed of exercises: MCQ, UCQ, Numerical-answer question, Matching, Fill-in-the-gaps exercise, Graphical multiple-choice question,...

  • Rich media activities: to split into sections a video or an audio sequence and enrich each segment, with text, definitions, pictures and additional multimedia resources...

The activities created can be gathered in Divisions to be aggregated in Modules containers.

Then the Modules are generated, with a simple click, in different formats adapted to the chosen distribution channel: paper, web,...

RemarqueEmeraude, an extension to Opale

Opale includes an Emeraude Module which enables one to create a web tutorial, especially suitable to design linear case study and allows learners to acquire good analysis practices.

Which software to choose?

You have the choice between 3 implementation modes:

  • the wsppack Opale or OpaleStarter to install on a SCENARIchain environment,

  • the desktop application Opale,

  • the desktop application and service MyScenari.

ComplémentChoose Opale or OpaleStarter?

OpaleStarter is a simplified version of Opale. Meant for beginners, it helps understand the document model more easily, then switch to Opale (without losing contents).
